TWIST 750 Compact Bottle + Bike Base

I likely would not have purchased this bottle were it not for a new bike that would not fit the traditional bottle size. After several rides, the system is secure and easier to use as I had to get used to twisting the bottle to release from the frame with my left hand which initially did not feel as natural. I do wish they made insulated bottles, let alone bottles that are white to keep the contents as cold as possible.

The shape of this bottle is very clever. It holds the water of an oversized bottle but fills the space of a conventional one. That part is very cool.

This is my first Fidlock and I'm still training the 'muscle memory' to hit the pegs without looking (very different motion to a normal cage) but it's coming along quickly.

I wonder about the retention of the dust cap. It seems quite fragile and I don't expect it to last as long as the bottle.

I am still trying to figure out the spouts though. They don't seem to lock and unlock with any sort of positive action. Am I missing something or is it strictly reliant on the squeeze resistance and the cap? I also am not sure how to clean inside as it doesn't seem to dissamble.

I really like how the bottle is short but still holds 700 ml. The connector has worked great so far. Also have the connector for my backpack. The water is right where I need it.

Works as designed. A little wobbly but won’t fall off.
